This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts of academic reading and text analysis. It enables them to identify different types of texts, develop effective reading strategies, and enhance their understanding of implied meanings, coherence, cohesion, structures of organization, and summarizing/ paraphrasing techniques. The objective is to foster critical and autonomous reading of English texts.
