Please read Thomas Paine’s The Age of Reason and prepare a short group review (800–1,000 words) that examines how the work contributed to the Age of Enlightenment. Your review should offer a clear summary of Paine’s key arguments, assess his critique of religious authority, and explain the book’s influence on contemporary political and intellectual movements.

• Form groups of up to 6 students.
  
• Write a review of about 800 words, double-spaced, 12‑pt serif font (Times New Roman).
  
• Include at the top: group title and full names of all group members.
  
• Structure your review to include: a brief summary (1 paragraph), an analysis of Paine’s critique of religion and its significance for Enlightenment thought, and a discussion of the work’s political/intellectual impact..
