Group Research Project 2
متطلبات الإكمال
Please read selected chapters from Karl Marx’s Das Kapital (Volume I, focusing on commodity, labor, surplus value, and class struggle) together with The Communist Manifesto, and prepare a short group review (800–1,000 words) that examines how these works interpret and respond to the social, economic, and political consequences of the Industrial Revolution. Your review should show how Marx connects industrialization to new forms of exploitation, class conflict, and global capitalism, and how his analysis helps us understand both the promises and the problems of modern industrial society.
- Form groups of up to 6 students.
- Focus your review on the consequences of the Industrial Revolution: factory production, urbanization, the rise of the capitalist class and the industrial working class, changing working conditions, and new forms of inequality.
- Where relevant, relate Marx’s analysis of industrial society to broader historical developments (e.g. imperialism, labor movements, trade unions) and to contemporary debates on working conditions, inequality, and social justice.
- At the top of the document, include your group title and the full names of all group members.
- Submit one combined PDF by email to the teacher’s email.
